This year we have Store Tours on Saturday, January 14 as well as Wednesday, January 18. Each of these four hour tours will kick off with lunch and a brief overview.

Tour 1
Arriving in New York for first-timers or experienced visitors is always about enjoying and exploring New York's many neighborhoods. This tour will discuss and explore many of the leading areas that are shaping the next generation of retail and hospitality. Tour attendees will gain a comprehensive view and insight into New York City's various districts that will guide your stay all week.

Retail Innovation & Technology (Repeated on Wednesday)

Tour 2
Who's using digital, CRM and other in-store technologies to drive the customer experience? What retailer's check-out experience or hardware interface is best-of-class? Who's using A/R or QR Codes to tell extended stories via mobile-based marketing? What other technologies are likely to impact the retail environment? This tour is perfect for those seeking to understand who is innovating via technology applications.

Specialty, Pop-Up, Hospitality

Tour 3
Every year at NRF's Annual Convention there are retailers that have taken the hearts and wallets of the consumer and press. This tour track is perfect for those who want to hear and experience some of New York's hottest retail brands, flagships, hotels and pop-ups. Attendees will hear about what are the newest brands to open in New York since last year's show and rumors about new locations yet to debut.

"I Love New York" Tour

This tour will provide an inside look into New York City's social, architectural, and commercial highlights. Frequents stops along the tour allow for shopping and sightseeing. Separate transportation will be provided.

Uptown Manhattan Excursion
Includes Lincoln Center, Central park, Museum Mile, Upper 5th Avenue, Times Square, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, St. patrick's Cathedral, United Nations and Chrysler Building
   
Downtown Manhattan Excursion
Includes East and West Greenwich Village, SoHo, Lower East Side, Financial District, Wall Street, World Financial Center, Chinatown, Little Italy, South Street Seaport, Fulton fish Market, Battery Park, Statue of Liberty views

Come along as we walk these amazing spaces and hear how these retailers are adapting to new trends, merchandising strategies and the volume of space to create distinctive customer experience.

Über Consumer Strategy

Tour 2-B
From the über retailers on Madison Ave/57th/5th to Times Square this tour takes a look at the impact brand architecture and brand pillars make on customer experience. Whether via a major exterior design and building to packaging a brand is identified by the process that combine into the brand essence. This tour is all about brand identity and what retailers are creating the best overall brand standards.

Registration

Each tour is limited to 50 participants, advance registration ($150 NRF/Shop.org member/$225 non-member) is required. Must be registered for the conference to participate. No refunds for no-shows and must check in 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.

All tours have minimum participation requirements. You will be notified by Dec 9th if the tour you registered for is cancelled. Confidential information in a tour package will be provided to store tour registrants in mid-December.
