Tudor Andronic is head of business development for Bizerba. In addition, he serves as the co-chair of the Fresh Management Charter for ARTS. Prior to working with Bizerba, Tudor was head of customer support and application development at Mettler Toledo for three years. He also spent 10 years with IBM as local, regional and EMEA retail solutions manager respectively. He began his retail career in 1990 at Swiss retailer Migros, responsible for IT/POS infrastructure before serving in different positions at solution providers and systems integrators including M-Informatic, Retailers Zurich, and Infoscan. Tudor holds an Engineering Degree in Applied Physics, Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, and a MBA Degree from OUBS UK, as well as a Degree/Lecturer in Economics at the Swiss Institute of Economical Science.

Enrique is responsible for Store Systems projects at El Corte Inglés, where he oversees the complete software lifecycle of in-store Point of Sale and mobility systems (POS terminals, vending machines, digital signature capture devices, scales, self-checkout, ESL, etc) for all the company’s retail formats.
Enrique is passionate about technology and has been involved in R&D projects, architecture, design and development of retail systems for over 20 years. He has worked on several generations of retail platforms - from the proprietary IBM 3651 system and 3683 programmable POS terminals of the early 80’s, to the current distributed services-based POS running today. He has played an instrumental role in helping El Corte Inglés deliver POS system architectures and applications that comply with industry standards.
El Corte Ingles is Spain’s leading retailer and operates a successful chain of department stores and other retail formats, with more than 700 locations (everything from large department stores with over 800 terminals to specialty-format single-terminal sites). Its principal geographic market is Spain and Portugal. The company has expanded internationally in Belgium, Greece and México and has plans to expand in America and Asia.

Mike Griswold brings over two decades of industry experience to his role as a research director in AMR Research’s Retail Strategies Service. Mike is primarily responsible for researching, analyzing, and writing about the technologies, best practices, and trends that grocers and other fast-moving consumer goods retailers utilize to maintain and enhance their business and retail operations.
Prior to joining AMR Research, Mike was the director of supply chain business programs at Albertson’s. Before this, Mike held several positions at Shaw’s Supermarkets. Most recently, he was a director of integration. Prior to Shaw’s, Mike spent nine years at Hills Department Stores, where he implemented a new POS system and introduced UPC scanning to the company.
Mike earned his BS in business management from Canisius College and his MBA from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt technical certification.

George primarily contributes to Forrester’s offerings for the Business & Process Applications role for the retail and consumer goods industries. He is a leading expert in current best practices for combining consumer insight with item data to develop the most profitable merchandising and new product introduction strategies. During his three years with Forrester, George has led research into consumer goods value chain topics such as global data synchronization and trade promotion management.
George has been quoted in general business media like the Financial Times as well as specialist publications like Retail Week. He is a popular speaker and has appeared on the BBC and Sky. He has led sessions at user conferences for vendors like IRI and Progress Software, as well as leading well-received sessions at Forrester Forums.
George was a senior analyst at Forrester Research from January 2003 to November 2005, publishing and advising clients on consumer goods value chain topics. Prior to joining Forrester, his 20-year IT career included senior marketing, product management, sales, and business development roles in firms like MSA, Digital, SSA, and Mapics. Prior to rejoining Forrester in April 2007, he was general manager in one of BT’s enterprises, building a portfolio of applications and services for retailers.
George has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Exeter University and a master’s degree in Operational Research from Warwick University Business School. George has been the architect and lead implementer for global ERP, supply chain, and financial implementations for multinationals operating in B2C and B2B markets. He holds the APICS CPIM certification and is a Goldratt Institute-certified Jonah. He is a CIMA-qualified accountant and a certified management consultant.
He is member by examination and professional experience of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and of the British Computer Society.

Board member of MERCATEL, he also serves on multiple advisory boards in key technology areas.
In his previous position as Customer Care Director, he had full responsibilities including the management of company-wide user support, as well as store systems and electronic transfers. He also was a key driver in setting up new front edge technology mobility services and outsourcing the desktop management services. Before joining Casino in 2000, he held multiple senior management positions within Hewlett-Packard for 15 years, most recently as European Network Manager.
The € 24.9 billion Casino Guichard-Perrachon owns and operates more than 10,000 hypermarkets, supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, and specialty shops under the names of Géant Casino, Casino Supermarché, Petit Casino, Casino Cafétéria, Franprix, Leader Price, Monoprix, Eco Service, Vival and Spar, among others. Casino is the number one convenience store operator in France. The company also has outlets in Holland, Asia and Latin America. France’s Rallye SA owns 51% of Casino.

Frank Urbaniak has spent his professional career working in retail store automation operations, and has spent the past seven years as a Consulting Principal of C-CORE Consulting Group. C-CORE’s RAPID Project technology evaluation methodology for POS, WFM and Product Maintenance have been used successfully at retailers such as Sobeys of Canada, AMC Theatres, New York and Company, Subway, PPG, Ritz Cameras, Interstate Batteries and The Pantry. C-CORE was the first NRF partner approved for the ARTS ITT/RFP program.
Prior to consulting, Frank worked at various retailers such as ShopRite and A&P, where he led the Program Management Office and was Vice President of Store Automation, responsible for the deployment of POS and store technology applications including workforce management, DSD management, store replenishment, e-learning, ESL’s, self-checkout, scale management, loyalty programs, and the Help Desk.
