Jim Blaeser is publisher of American Shipper, the leading b-to-b media covering international transportation and logistics management. In his role he is responsible for the company’s commercial activity including sales, marketing, alliances and business development. Jim also authors the magazine’s monthly Shipper’s IT column and primary research studies.
Jim joined American Shipper as publisher in January 2007. Prior to that he helped build Retail Systems Alert Group’s research practice now RSR Research. Previously he was vice president of business development at Aberdeen Group, a Boston-based research company.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on international marketing from the Zicklin School of Business at City University of New York, Baruch College.
