  • The world’s first blockchain built to monetize impact brings digital transformation to retail supply chains, adding trust to traceability. 

     

    NEW YORK — Topl, the startup behind the world’s first blockchain built for monetizing positive impact, will be presenting at the NRF Big Show’s Innovation Lab in New York City, Jan 16-18. Topl leadership will be showcasing how the Topl Blockchain can transcend legacy technology, unlocking new possibilities for retailers. 

     

    When retailers build their tech stacks atop the Topl Blockchain – a secure, trustless blockchain that uses 10 million times less energy than early blockchains – they spark a digital and sustainable transformation that opens novel market opportunities.  

     

    For instance, take the $80 billion diamond industry. Diamond supply chains are shrouded in mystery. By recording supply chain data in unalterable form on the Topl Blockchain, LuDeim can offer proof that it sells conflict-free diamonds removed from the earth sustainably, giving buyers a digital window into the whole supply chain from mine to marriage. Retailers can charge a premium for this story and trust.

     

    Trust, price premiums, transparency and traceability, and data security are only the beginning. 

     

    The availability of secure, granular data via the Topl Blockchain allows retailers to augment certification platforms – or even to create their own certification standards and show they have met them.
