The mission of the Office of Hazardous Material Safety is to increase safety in air transportation. The Vision is to reach the next step in aviation safety through innovative partnerships on safety management that proactively recognize and mitigate trends that could adversely influencing the safe and efficient movement of hazardous materials by air.
