LAND O’ LAKES, Florida and DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania –[today’s date] -- Maxava, a global provider of innovative high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and monitoring solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Retail Process Engineering (RPE). The partnership will enable RPE to sell and service Maxava's solutions for the IBM i platform.
As a Maxava partner, RPE, a leading retail consulting, data center and managed services company, will sell and run high availability and disaster recovery software for IBM i. RPE operates IBM Power servers on behalf of IBM i customers in two data centers, in Tampa, Florida, and Norcross, Georgia. Maxava’s software has been implemented at these sites to support customer operations, with plans for further expansion in the coming months.
HA software ensures IT infrastructure remains operational by eliminating potential points of failure. In the event of a disruption or attack, DR focuses on quickly restoring applications and data center operations to minimize downtime.
