  Leofoo Village Theme Park, a popular attraction in Taiwan, partnered with Advantech and Cashier Tech to streamline customer orders by introducing self-service kiosks at two restaurants. These kiosks, featuring Advantech’s UTK-615 Mini Self-Service Kiosk, allow guests to order meals using EasyCard, credit cards, or cash, reducing long queues during peak hours. The kiosks improved operational efficiency, cutting the need for staff and lowering wait times. With customizable features and seamless installation, the kiosks enhance customer experiences, and Leofoo Village is considering expanding the use of intelligent POS systems for future improvements.

  The California Academy of Sciences, one of the world’s largest natural history museums, is a renowned scientific and educational institution in San Francisco, housing a planetarium, aquarium, and rainforest exhibit under an eco-friendly living roof. To enhance its operations, the Academy adopted Advantech’s UTC All-in-One Touch Computers for its digital displays, especially in the Steinhart Aquarium and the Hidden Wonders gallery.   NOKE, a new shopping mall in Taiwan’s Dazhi area, opened in 2023, offering curated products, diverse dining, and winter sports facilities. Designed by architect Michael Lin, the mall features greenery-integrated facades inspired by trade ships. With seven floors, nearly 100 brands, and a focus on flexible retail spaces, NOKE aims to redefine the shopping experience.

  Partnering with Harvatek and Advantech, NOKE implemented a digital signage system for immersive customer engagement, while Advantech’s WISE-iService solution tracks foot traffic and occupancy.   A globally recognized gaming machine manufacturer, specializing in both hardware and software for commercial gaming, faced challenges with frequent disruptions due to the short lifecycle of their previous commercial computers. To address these issues, they needed industrial-grade computers with longer-lasting performance and reliable support.

  Advantech provided a solution by integrating the UPOS-M15 monitor with the ARK-1123 embedded computer. The UPOS-M15, equipped with a P-CAP touchscreen and adaptable for various applications, along with the ARK-1123, was implemented as the member management system at each gaming table. This system allows players to use stored-value or membership cards for betting, with reliable data processing and verification.

  Advantech, a leading provider of intelligent computing solutions, is pleased to announce its USC-513RB, a cost-effective integrated point-of-sale (POS) system tailored for diverse retail and hospitality applications. With its sleek modern design, the USC-513RB integrates a printer and barcode scanner, streamlining payments and receipt printing in a compact terminal.

  The USC-513RB features dual 13.3-inch screens as the default configuration. Alternatively, upon request, the USC-513RB offers the option for a single display. The UBX-110 is equipped with 11th generation embedded Intel® Celeron® or Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processors and features three video outputs. • Advantech's Acquisition of Aures POS and KIOSK (Sep 27, 2024)
  Advantech, a global leader in industrial IoT, has announced its acquisition of Aures Technologies SA, a French company renowned for its POS and KIOSK brands. This strategic move aims to strengthen Advantech's global coverage in smart retail products and services, advancing its position among leading smart retail solution providers worldwide. Advantech will acquire Aures through transactions with the major shareholder and public tender offer, at price per share not exceeding 6.7 euros (The total number of outstanding shares is 3,938,173 shares), with the potential to acquire up to 100% equity. Additionally, Advantech will subscribe newly issued convertible bonds from Aures, totaling 5 million euros to support its working capital. The entire transaction will proceed following completion of internal approval processes by both parties and regulatory approval from relevant authorities.
